She read law at Obafemi Awolowo University and University of Lagos Nigeria. She has two Masters Degrees, one in law with bias for secured credit transactions, company securities and international economic law and the other in Business Administration. She is also an Associate of the Institute of Secretaries and Chartered Administrators of Nigeria.

She had worked with Irvin & Bonnar a law firm of international repute and had worked with a local merchant bank. She has had high profile exposures to a number of securities documentation and advisory memos, such as the legal documentation for bank syndicated facilities for several companies such as May & Baker Plc, facility and production documentation of Mobil Esso Oil Oso Condensate project and has consulted on the effect of petroleum tax law on the Oso condensate project apart from the regular tax advisory services rendered to clients in the oil service sector. She is currently on sabbatical.
